Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as a component of the VA's disability benefits program. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records through a secure online portal and carry out thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Document examination results accurately and complete the necessary VA forms.

It is important to note that disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and not by the assessing provider.

Schedule and Equipment

• Part-Time Position: 3 days per week, averaging 4 Veterans assessed daily.
• All necessary equipment, including a computer for documentation, will be provided.

Qualifications

• A compassionate Psychologist with a strong commitment to serving the Veteran community.
• Excellent analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Skilled in electronic documentation and navigating web-based portals.
• Professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.
• Must have graduated from an APA-accredited program.
• Possess an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
