Travel Physical Therapist - $2,038 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Addison, Texas. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, examinations, and histories. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred). Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome. Other certifications or licenses may be required. Required Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication. Proficient reading, writing, and spoken English. PC skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend. Professional attitude and ability to work with diverse personnel. Fine manipulation skills for procedures and equipment use. Capacity to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines, and work with irregular schedules. Visual acuity and effective communication.
