Project Manager/Senior IT Consultant

Project Manager/Senior IT Consultant Alfa Financial Software, Inc.; Royal Oak, MI. Telecommuting permitted. 20% domestic travel. Responsibilities Understand client requirements for Alfa System and devise feasible solutions. Ensure successful delivery and implementation of the Alfa Systems solution for each client. Schedule work, gather requirements, process design, investigate software defects, and design integrations. Assign responsibilities and mentor junior consultants, conducting performance reviews. Manage an implementation stream on a client project, utilizing Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira, and client‑site issue tracking systems. Assist clients with identifying changes required after adopting new Alfa features. Document internal best practices and client process procedures. Prepare and deliver training sessions and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Junior Consultant, Consultant Analyst, or a related role. Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive, equipment finance, or related finance sectors. Proficiency in SQL queries and the ability to craft complete SQL statements across different RDBMS such as Oracle Database and PostgreSQL. Experience using Postman, Insomnia, SAP, and JSON.
