Position Overview

We are actively searching for a dedicated and proficient Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join a collaborative team of imaging specialists committed to excellence in patient care. You will wield advanced ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic examinations, ensuring patients feel reassured and informed throughout the process.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear explanations and support during examinations
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure the imaging equipment is functioning optimally, reporting any issues swiftly
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in sonographic techniques and industry best practices

Education requirements include:

• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred: Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Licensure/certification requirements include:

• Current ARDMS certification (or equivalent) is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential skills include:

• Proven technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
