Tuition discounts through Rasmussen UniversityAs a Home Health Physical Therapist, here’s what to expect:Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to an illness or injuryWork as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT, and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and goalsObserve movements, conduct assessments, document progress and modify care plan as neededAssist patient with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobilityEducate patients on their plan of care, established goals, exercises, and self-careCoach family on the plan of care, therapy goals and safely assisting with exercisesA few requirements for Home Health Physical Therapists:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Program and active PT license in FLMinimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience in home healthcareCPR certificationKnowledge of state and federal home health regulationsGood clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassionAt Interim HealthCare, we’ve been putting people first since 1966.
