Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site, Personal Injury Litigation Attorney role based our Charlotte, NC office. The attorney will manage a caseload of personal injury matters exclusively handling all litigation cases from filing of suit, up to and if necessary, taking matters to trial. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, negotiating with insurance companies and opposing counsel, and preparing cases for mediation, settlement, or trial. The role involves regular court appearances, depositions, and close collaboration with staff to gather evidence, coordinate expert witnesses, and maintain organized case files. The attorney is expected to provide clear legal advice, maintain high professional and ethical standards, and contribute to a collaborative firm culture. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience in Personal Injury litigation including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial work. Ability to provide clear, accurate Legal Advice and to communicate complex legal concepts to clients in an accessible manner. Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, and regulations applicable to personal injury matters. Effective Negotiation skills for dealing with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties in settlement discussions. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina. Prior experience handling personal injury or civil litigation cases preferred. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including courtroom presentation and drafting legal documents. High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, client service orientation, and attention to detail.
