Concierge Associate

Aimé Leon Dore is looking for a polished, customer-focused Concierge Associate to serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing a personalized, seamless, and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will anticipate customer needs, offer tailored services, and support store operations while delivering the highest level of service. Duties and Responsibilities Hosting / Traffic Management Greet and welcome all guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner. Manage the traffic of the retail space / occasionally checking in on the experience within Café Leon Dore Responsible for advising on opportunities to increase / manage traffic. Manage the wait list and proactively communicate accurate waiting times Ensuring and gauging capacity levels are met within the store at all times — knowing and communicating when to decrease or increase traffic Be a Brand Ambassador for all things ALD, leaning into the styling and brand values. Monitor store appearance and ensure the front-of-house environment is immaculate and welcoming. Offer local knowledge, including nearby amenities, restaurants, and attractions. Collect and relay customer feedback to improve service quality. Taking accountability of when anything needs maintenance and retouching. This should be communicated to management immediately. (Planters broken, doors not locking, paint retouches, pest control, etc.) Client Experience Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor at all times Speak to standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing and comfortable reaching out for support to ensure all inquiries are addressed and in a timely matter Engaging in proper and positive communications with guests throughout greeting, seating, and departure experiences, and as otherwise may be needed Being able to kindly ask that guest not sit on any outside areas and not block the sidewalk if waiting Ensuring (with the assistance of lounge staff) the sidewalk, storefront, and planters are not blocked / occupied. Assisting with online returns at the door with hospitality and professionalism (starting online returns from door device) Community Build relationships with members, F&F/VIP and guests and communicate any red flags and positive feedback to management to assess Being able to gauge potential VIP / F&F guest’s entry Assist VIP clientele with white-glove services such as personal shopping, gift wrapping, or delivery coordination. Manage the wait list during any activations / brand partnership events, continuing to build on community and taking care of VIP / F&F attendees. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or high-touch client service environments with demonstrated excellence in guest experience delivery. Strong presence and emotional intelligence, with the ability to read the room, anticipate guest needs, and manage dynamic traffic flow with composure. Proven experience supporting VIP, high-profile, or discerning clientele with discretion and professionalism. Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the brand with confidence, warmth, and polish. Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities, particularly in capacity management and guest prioritization. Deep appreciation for brand storytelling, styling, and experiential retail environments. Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining an elevated, immaculate front-of-house presentation. Comfortable utilizing digital tools and POS systems to support operational efficiency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and key brand activation periods.
