Delivery Specialist-3

Job Summary Compensation Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicles clean and properly inspected, and keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and monies collected secure at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management and report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at the end of day's business. Clock in/out according to company policy. Complete additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and other tasks as needed. May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks (e.g., phones, sales and service) when business dictates. Qualifications Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system. Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired). Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
