Operating Room Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This 13-week contract offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and is well suited for an RN with current hospital Operating Room experience.
Position Details
Location: National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
On-Call: Intermittent on-call (14-17 times a month) on evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay: Starting at $38.95 Based on Experience
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited university; or
Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university
Experience
Minimum of two years of current hospital experience in the Operating Room
Certifications
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Licensure
Valid nursing license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
