Position: School Cleaner / Custodian
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19116
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the school after regular school hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Clean and disinfect classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling containers.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Clean glass, doors, furniture, and other assigned areas.
- Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain assigned areas according to company and school standards.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
