Our IT team is focused on providing our partnerships and management teams with timely, quality technology support that is reliable and helpful.We are seeking a Contract – Sr. Data Developer to join our team of highly skilled data professionals to revolutionize the way technology is used within surgery centers across the country.This position is primarily responsible for:Dedicated support of an existing SCAH large scale SQL Server data solution, responding to production and business issues.Participating in monitoring of multiple SQL Server instances, with quarterly periods of staggered 24-hour support.Monitoring and improving SQL Server environment stability and performance.Administration tasks including database backups, copies, and restores.Administration tasks including incident management, change management, and change deployments.Configuring, executing, monitoring, and troubleshooting long-running SQL Server jobs.Working with business owners to maintain and modify existing business logic SQL scripts and stored procedures.Working with business owners to develop new business logic.Working with business owners to optimize business logic query performance.Providing accurate estimates and delivering on commitments in an efficient and effective manner.Minimum Qualifications:8+ years of Microsoft SQL Server data development and database administration experience.4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience administering an on-premises +16TB database.4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience administering very large tables of 6+ billion rows.4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience using and maintaining table and view partitioning.4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience tuning and maintaining large databases and queries.4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2017+ experience executing and maintaining large scale data manipulation queries and jobs.Availability to work a staggered schedule, as needed, to maintain near 24/7 operational support during processing windows.Ability to translate business requirements from business-provided SQL scripts and code.Ability to clearly and professional document operational tasks and processes.Proactive, decisive, action-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.Other Qualifications:1+ years of experience using ServiceNow (or similar system) for incident, change, and release management.Experience working with institutional and professional medical claims data (i.e., Stratasan).Able to work with teammates, customers, and partners to design robust and efficient solutions.Able to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.Able to work with project managers to accurately evaluate and scope work.Able to work in a team environment and constructively support and teach others.Able to clearly explain technical issues in a way non-technical people can understand.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.Able to be broadly focused and manage multiple efforts concurrently.Able to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including staff, business stakeholders, and all levels of management.Required Skills: SQL Server 17 + Great communication · Must be strong in writing the queries, documenting, optimization and implementation T-SQL and Stored Procedures from development.
