Mitigation Estimator Coordinator

divh2Estimator/h2pThe Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand commercial and insurance restoration industry. Having a basic construction background which includes basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by water and other property damage causes will assist in being successful in this position. Xactimate experience is an essential requirement of this job. If you do not have experience with this software, you will not be considered for this position. Additionally, we require candidates to demonstrate knowledge of the software as a part of the candidate screening process./ppDuties Responsibilities/pullistrongMust have previous mitigation estimating experience with a restoration company./strong/liliInspect and scope jobs Crew Chief/ Lead Tech on scope of job/liliDocument loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software/liliWrites mitigation estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software/liliCommunicates conversations and key information on the job using the notes feature in required software/liliEstimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer/liliCommunicates with lead tech to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)/liliRecord of Drying using mobile software/liliDetermine labor and equipment costs/liliPrepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing/liliCommunicate w/insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison/liliManage all estimate documents and assess project risks/liliReview quotes and estimates with the construction project team/liliAddresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner/li/ulpDisclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this classification.
