We currently have a need for an Geologist/Environmental Scientist in our Brooklyn, NY Office.

~ Drilling/excavating contractor oversight, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sample collection
~ Soil sampling at various NYC agency sites
~ Use of field equipment (PID meters, Horibas/water pumps etc.)
~ Oversight of GW monitoring well installations
~ Construction activities oversight including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations/closures, etc.
~ CAMP implementation and work zone monitoring
~ Field activity report writing
~ Assist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents
~8 hour shift

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
~1-2 years' experience (entry level candidates will also be considered)
~ Must have a valid Driver's license and car (needed for field work)
~ Self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills
~ Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, reliable, detail oriented and a team player.
