Job Description Job Description Our organization is on the lookout for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to become part of our dedicated team. This role offers a unique chance to engage in truly collaborative patient care. Position Overview Contribute to the expansion of the department's established multidisciplinary care pathways by strengthening relationships with primary and specialty care providers, both within and outside the organization. The primary focus will be on patient care, education, and research. Responsibilities will include both didactic and clinical training for residents and fellows. Our team includes a dedicated molecular biologist, vision scientist, and electrophysiologist, along with a research coordinator and two specialized ophthalmo-genetic counselors. This role will be situated at a prominent children's hospital with additional clinics at nearby satellite locations and surgical centers. The department is well-equipped, featuring collagen cross-linking capabilities, a myopia treatment center, and the latest imaging technologies, including integrated intraoperative OCT, eye movement tracking, and a comprehensive visual electrophysiology lab.
