Job Title: Infusion Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current state license required Certifications: MA license, BSN, ACLS, Chemo (OCN or ONCC) Must-Have: - 2 years of infusion center experience - Outpatient oncology experience - Epic charting experience - COVID Vaccination + Booster required Description: The position requires a skilled Infusion Registered Nurse. The nurse will provide care for patients with multiple myeloma and lymphoma in an outpatient setting. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in infusion centers and outpatient oncology. They should be proficient in Epic charting. Floating within the facility or nearby affiliate hospitals may be required. All necessary certifications need to be current prior to starting the position. The role includes administering chemotherapy, managing ports, and providing patient education. The nurse will also be responsible for monitoring patients for side effects and managing acute symptoms. Candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary support team, contributing to the overall patient care.
