HSS is currently seeking energetic and highly motivated Janitors to join our team! The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and public areas at stadiums.

This is a seasonal position, with the possibility of placement in a more permanent role.

Compensation:

The pay for this position is $17/hr. This represents the pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.

Shift: 

• 3rd shift

Requirements:

• Must have the legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work overnight shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
• Willing to do heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:

• Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including, restaurants, public areas, bathrooms, in a clean and orderly manner. cleaning vip rooms and halls, and vacuuming.
• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned
