This role involves performing high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling, applying expertise in climbing and safety to ensure the health and beauty of client landscapes. What Youll Do

• Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques and equipment.
• Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other essential tree care equipment.
• Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices.
• Assist in safe tree removals, utilizing ropes and spikes as needed.
• Identify hazards and perform thorough safety checks for each job.
• Perform aerial rescues to ensure safety in high-risk scenarios.
• Maintain strong communication with team members and clients.

What Were Looking For

• Valid U.S. drivers license (CDL preferred) and legal work authorization.
• Proficiency in proper pruning techniques for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Strong knowledge of various tree and shrub species.
• Comfortable climbing without spurs and skilled in diverse climbing techniques.
• Experience operating chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other essential tree care equipment.
• Expertise in proper pruning cuts, branch collars, and chainsaw operations.
• Familiarity with ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety guidelines.
• Ability to perform aerial rescues.
• Experience with safe tree removal techniques (ropes/spikes).
• Physical stamina to lift 50 pounds frequently and perform demanding outdoor work in varying conditions.
