Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a 25-bed critical access hospital. The successful candidate will work with both inpatients and outpatients, providing rehabilitative care across various units.

Responsibilities

• Support occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans.


• Assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.


• Document patient progress and report findings.


• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate Degree (COTA) from an accredited program.


• Current state Occupational Therapy certification.


• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.


• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification; AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
