Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Perform routine CT exams for emergency department and inpatient services
• Work with GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice scanners)
• Conduct trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA procedures
• Operate in a high-volume environment averaging 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
• Work independently with ability to operate GE CT equipment
• Day shift staffing includes 2 technologists per scanner, overnight shift has 3 total technologists
• Must have at least 1 year experience in level 1 trauma setting
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Follow compassionate care model for patient interactions
• Required uniform: charcoal grey
• Work exclusively with emergency department and inpatient populations

This 345-bed acute-care facility serves as a comprehensive medical center offering specialized services including the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, and pediatric intensive care unit in the region. The facility houses the only Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers in the area and maintains Joint Commission accreditation with recognition in chest pain, knee and hip replacement, sepsis, and stroke care. The facility is ACR accredited in multiple imaging modalities including CT and maintains a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
