Direct Indexing Portfolio Manager – GWIM CIO Portfolio Management Position Overview: This role contributes to managing CIO direct indexing portfolios by rebalancing, trading, and monitoring portfolios, supporting advisor/client interactions, and participating in the development of future infrastructure for direct indexing strategies. Responsibilities Manage, recommend, and direct executions of investment programs designed to achieve objectives of client accounts within investment policy guidelines. Rebalance, trade, and monitor portfolios to ensure alignment with guidelines, constraints, and objectives. Partner with advisors and clients on strategy, transition planning, and phased management of portfolio positions. Support ongoing design and development of infrastructure for CIO direct indexing strategies and capabilities. Required Qualifications 6–8+ years of quantitative portfolio management and trading experience using equity risk models and mean‑variance optimization. Knowledge of modern portfolio theory, equity risk models, and mean‑variance optimization. Ability to perform quantitative analysis of large data sets using Excel, Tableau, R, Python, or C. Broad‑based knowledge of investments, tax, and operations relevant to servicing clients. Desired Qualifications Experience with API programming using R or Python. Graduate degree in STEM field, Finance, or Economics. Experience managing direct indexing portfolios. Employment Details Shift: 1st shift (United States) Hours per week: 40 Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Location: Chicago, IL (110 N Wacker Dr) or New York, NY (ONE BRYANT PARK). Compensation and Benefits Annualized salary range: $153,000.00 – $208,600.00, based on experience, education, and skill set.
