We are looking to fill a K-level management position at the Auburn/Fredrickson sites with a qualified candidate that is passionate about leading Boeing into the future. Qualified candidates will be considered for leadership roles on teams that design and maintain tooling assets. Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly are essential. A solid understanding of Tool Engineering processes and tools is needed. Technical leadership and aptitude are essential for success in this role along with people leadership skills to develop and inspire your team to reach a shared goal and vision. Strong candidates will have demonstrated success in developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers, as well as strong problem‑solving skills, a willingness to take initiative, and an ability to work across multiple functions to lead the development and implementation of production system assets. Primary Responsibilities Lead teams responsible for the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the production system. Develop and maintain working relationships with MBU partners, internal stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. Leverage network to seek broad input on key projects and initiatives. Clearly communicate status of projects both internally and externally. Manage, develop and motivate employees to achieve their best as individuals and as a team. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 5+ years of experience as a Tool Engineering, or equivalent ABET accredited degree Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in a production environment Experience in leading or managing teams Experience working with cross‑functional teams Manufacturing Engineering experience Drug Free Workplace Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post‑offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies. Summary pay range: $151,300 – $204,700 Export Control Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
