Key Responsibilities

• Performing holistic patient evaluations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and addressing both acute and chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently as per your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in alignment with your practice scope
• Involved in chronic care management and patient follow-ups
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated, patient-centered care
• Accurately documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or eligibility to achieve these within 90 days)
