Job Summary As an Applebee’s Server you will be the first and last impression for guests, delivering friendly service, making recommendations, and anticipating guests’ needs. This role offers a fun, flexible work environment with opportunities for growth. Responsibilities Serve guests in a friendly and professional manner. Make recommendations and anticipate guests’ needs. Manage table service, including transporting plates, glasses, and baskets between the dining room, service bar, and kitchen—approximately 30 times per shift depending on business flow. Communicate clearly and listen attentively to colleagues and diners. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, wearing required protective gear. Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years. Effective communication skills. Commitment to making a positive impact on guest experience. Ability to work well‑paced mobility for up to four hours per shift. Ability to safely lift, bend, stoop, and reach regularly, including lifting up to 25 pounds. Willingness to use hand‑protective coverings, cleaning supplies, and face coverings throughout the shift, and to wash hands with disinfectant soap frequently. Physical Standards Must be able to exert well‑paced mobility for long periods of up to four (4) hours, safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25pounds. Should be able to transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and kitchen about 30 times per shift (depending on business flow). Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees and dining room staff. Ability to wear protective hand coverings and face coverings for the entire shift, and to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap. Benefits Competitive wages.
