Public Relations Account Director

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Account Director to lead strategic communications programs for a portfolio of innovative B2B technology clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and has a passion for technology, storytelling, and earned media. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of B2B technology clients. Lead integrated public relations campaigns from strategy through execution. Build trusted client relationships while providing strategic counsel and day-to-day account leadership. Develop communications strategies, messaging, media plans, and thought leadership initiatives. Drive media relations efforts and secure meaningful coverage across business, technology, and trade publications. Manage multiple accounts, project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Collaborate with internal creative, digital, content, and social teams to execute integrated campaigns. Prepare client presentations, campaign reports, and strategic recommendations. Mentor and support junior team members while ensuring high-quality client deliverables. Stay informed on emerging technology trends and the evolving media landscape. Qualifications 6+ years of public relations experience within an agency environment. Strong experience managing B2B technology clients. Proven success leading client relationships and managing multiple accounts simultaneously. Excellent media relations experience with business, technology, and trade publications. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills. Highly organized with exceptional project management abilities. Experience mentoring junior team members and leading cross-functional initiatives. Preferred Experience Experience supporting clients within SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, enterprise software, fintech, or other B2B technology sectors. Background managing integrated communications campaigns that include earned media, executive thought leadership, content development, and social media. Experience contributing to new business efforts is a plus.
