Job Description Job Description Corporate Controller (Multi-Entity Accounting Leadership) Overview We are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting across a multi-entity organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will oversee location-level Controllers, own the audit process, and drive consistency in accounting policies, controls, and reporting. This is a high-impact opportunity to build and standardize processes, strengthen internal controls, and support a growing, acquisition-driven business. Location Wilkes-Barre, PA (Onsite; some travel required) Target Compensation $150,000-$175,000, up to 20% bonus --- Key Responsibilities * Own consolidated GAAP financial statements and reporting accuracy * Lead and standardize the monthly close process across entities * Oversee external audit and serve as primary auditor contact * Establish and enforce consistent accounting policies and controls * Supervise and develop plant/location Controllers * Strengthen internal controls and cash management processes * Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams on reporting and insights * Evaluate and improve ERP systems and chart of accounts --- Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting; * CPA required (active preferred) * 8+ years of progressive accounting experience * Experience with labor burden rates. * Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location financials * Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany accounting * Experience leading external audits and internal controls * Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * Background in manufacturing, industrial, or services environments --- Preferences Private equity or acquisition-driven company experience * Experience standardizing accounting processes across entities * ERP implementations or system integrations * Exposure to lender reporting or leveraged environments --- Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary, bonus opportunity, and comprehensive benefits package. --- Apply Today If you're a hands-on accounting leader looking to build structure, drive impact, and partner with executive leadership, we encourage you to apply. --- Disclaimer By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Vernovis Staffing and our contracted partners.
