Network Engineer

Salary: $67,600 - 108,160 per year Requirements:

• We require an associate degree or higher in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a bachelors degree is preferred, and equivalent experience may substitute for education in some cases.
• We require 2-4 years of professional experience in network engineering, network administration, or advanced network support.
• We need hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies and request-based operational work.
• We expect a solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, WAN/LAN technologies, wireless networking, VPN connectivity, and troubleshooting practices.
• We need the ability to manage work effectively in a primarily remote environment.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills.
• We require a valid U.S. drivers license, access to a reliable personal vehicle, and, when applicable, a good driving record.
• We require residency within 50 miles of one of the approved regional locations.
• Experience with Infoblox, including IPAM and DNS administration, is preferred.
• Experience in a Cisco-based enterprise network environment is preferred.
• Experience supporting distributed or multi-site infrastructure is preferred.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms is preferred.
• Experience with structured documentation, standardized request workflows, and planned infrastructure changes is preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA are a plus.

• We fulfill network-related service requests through ServiceNow, including standard changes, access requests, configuration updates, and infrastructure support tasks.
• We support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations and care environments.
• We carry out planned network changes and service delivery work in line with operational standards and change management practices.
• We configure, monitor, and support routing, switching, wireless, WAN/LAN connectivity, and related network services.
• We support core network services such as DNS and IP address management (IPAM).
• We work primarily in a Cisco and Infoblox environment.
• We maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, standards, procedures, and configuration details.
• We collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and site stakeholders to complete requests and drive infrastructure improvements.
• We assist with upgrades, deployments, and lifecycle replacement activities.
• We contribute to stable, secure network operations that support clinical, long-term care, and critical care environments.
• We participate in a weekly rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours operational needs.

This Network Engineer role is 90% remote with occasional on-site responsibilities and up to 10% travel to regional locations as needed. The position supports infrastructure that is critical to clinical, long-term care, and critical care operations, and it includes participation in a weekly rotating on-call schedule. We offer a day-shift schedule of 40 hours per week, with a salary range of $32.50 to $52.00 per hour.
