Prep Cook

Prep Cook Position at Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse

Parry's is looking for a Prep Cook to support our original restaurant in Parker on a part-time basis, working 20-25 hours each week.

Role Overview

Prep Cooks are responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen organization, and supporting food quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management, and consistency — ensuring the kitchen is set up for success before and during service.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare ingredients by following recipes, prep sheets, and spec standards
• Practice strong time management to complete prep efficiently and accurately
• Understand and execute correct portion sizes, taste profiles, and visual presentation
• Label, date, and store all food items properly
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift
• Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash as needed to support BOH flow
• Follow all safety and sanitation practices consistently
• Communicate clearly with Kitchen Managers and BOH teammates to support daily execution

Qualifications + Skills

• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow recipes and prep standards consistently
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
• Willingness to learn and apply coaching in real time
