This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic investors, and other sophisticated clients in complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Ideal Background 3–6 years of private equity, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm Experience representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers and sellers, and other corporate clients in sophisticated transactions Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth equity investments, and other private equity transactions Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, equity investment documents, and related transaction documentation Experience conducting and managing legal due diligence and coordinating transaction workstreams Experience advising clients on general corporate governance matters, entity formation, and ongoing corporate matters Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage sophisticated transactions while working directly with clients and opposing counsel Experience with cross-border transactions is a plus Excellent academic credentials J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted Why This Opportunity Sophisticated global private equity platform Representation of premier private equity sponsors and portfolio companies Exposure to complex domestic and cross-border transactions Significant client interaction and responsibility Strong mentorship and professional development Collaborative AmLaw 50 environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Aligned Talent Acquisition
