Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other clinical sites, ensuring the delivery of diagnostically-quality images and data. Operates portable radiography equipment while maintaining safety and professionalism in diverse settings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit images for radiologist interpretation.
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment to facility locations, ensuring proper setup for diagnostic exams.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images based on physician orders.
• Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
• Maintain and operate radiology equipment and vehicle, adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients regarding scheduling and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ARRT certification and applicable State licenses.
• Possess a valid driver's license in current good standing.
• Demonstrate ability to perform diagnostic radiography and EKG procedures accurately.
• Meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50-100 lbs with assistance.
• Maintain compliance with health requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination or exemption documentation.
