Systems Engineer - Early Career

Role Overview Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Systems Engineer Associate. In this role, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s level degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics. Knowledge of system design, requirements definition and documentation. Ability to evaluate and review technical changes for impacts to requirements and design documentation. Must be a US Citizen and this position requires a government security clearance. The position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills Evaluate technical changes for Non‑Recurring costs and Recurring costs. Develop documentation and coordinate reviews through CM and DM tools. Experience with EPDM, preferred. Experience with system requirements management. Experience with DOORS, helpful. Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and enhance skills. Familiarity with SysML and Model‑Based Systems Engineering toolsets (Cameo). Security Clearance Clearance Level: Secret. Position requires a government security clearance and must be a US Citizen. Pay and Benefits Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200–$106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. The salary information is a general guideline; the company considers various factors when extending an offer.
