Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative - Automotive Components

$80,000–$100,000 per year Summary A leading Japanese trading company specializing in electronic components and materials is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Sales Representative to join its U.S. subsidiary. This position focuses on supporting and expanding business with Tier 1 automotive clients across North America. The ideal candidate will have either sales experience in automotive-related fields or purchasing experience at a Tier 1 supplier. Strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of supply chains, and fluency in Japanese are required. Responsibilities Manage and expand business relationships with existing Tier 1 automotive clients. Propose and support specification-in of automotive electronic components and materials. Serve as a liaison between Japanese suppliers and North American clients, ensuring smooth communication and operations. Coordinate with internal logistics and operations teams for delivery scheduling and inventory control. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and overall account management. Work cross-functionally with global teams, including counterparts in Japan and Asia. Attend in-person meetings and business trips across the U.S. and Mexico as needed.
