Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years in nursing with 1 year in Cath Lab License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab - Experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, right and left heart catheterization - Availability for on-call shifts Description: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide specialized nursing care in the cardiovascular unit. This role includes assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients pre- and post-procedure. The position requires strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, is essential. Candidates must possess essential certifications such as ACLS and BLS. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
