Project Manager - Commercial Construction

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded commercial construction professional who wants to work for an established GC with a diverse project portfolio and strong backlog. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout and be comfortable taking ownership of budget, schedule, contracts and client relationships. The company offers Project Managers the opportunity to work on a variety of project types while building long-term relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors and internal teams. Description Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Oversee project budget, schedule, contracts and documentation. Manage subcontractor procurement and contract administration. Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants and trade partners. Lead project meetings and maintain clear project communication. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals and change orders. Track project costs, commitments and potential changes. Identify and resolve project issues proactively. Work closely with the Superintendent to maintain schedule and project quality. Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. Profile 7-12+ years of commercial construction experience AT A GENERAL CONTRACTOR Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling and subcontractor management. Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout. Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Well-rounded commercial construction background preferred. Experience with civic, education, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily or other complex commercial projects is a plus. Ground-up construction experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required.
