Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist

Role Overview A board‑certified/eligible Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric consultation to the medical/surgical units at MMC Biddeford as part of the Consultation‑Liaison Psychiatry Service. The position requires assessment and management of co‑occurring medical, psychiatric, and substance use disorders, and offers integration with the Portland‑based team and academic collaboration with residency and medical students. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training. Current or eligible license as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or eligible for examination, documented as Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry. Current DEA Registration Certificate. 3+ years of experience, inclusive of residency and/or fellowship training preferred. Meet other credentialing criteria defined in medical staff by‑laws.
