DISHWASHER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview Position: DISHWASHER (full-time or part-time). Location: Brewton-Parker College, 201 David-Eliza Fountain Circle, Mount Vernon, GA 30445. Online applications accepted only. Schedule Full-time and part-time schedules; Friday through Sunday, 9:00 am – 8:30 pm; Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm – 8:30 pm, and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. On-call. More details upon interview. Compensation Pay Range: $8.00 per hour to $9.50 per hour. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensures cleanliness and sanitation. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and procedures; ensures cleanliness and sanitation. Ensures compliance with safety procedures. Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards. Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces. Removes trash and handles disposal according to guidelines. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and product. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
