Now Hiring: R&D Technician III– Medical Device Location: Valencia, CA Pay: $40.00/hr Schedule: 1st Shift Position Type: Contract Advantage Technical is placing an R&D Technician with a leading medical device manufacturer in Valencia, CA. If you're a hands‑on builder with prototyping experience and a knack for creative problem‑solving in a regulated environment, we want to talk. What You'll Do Develop concepts and construct prototypes and products from engineering instructions Document prototypes and fixtures using basic mechanical drawings or SolidWorks CAD Organize, coordinate, and execute prototype builds and testing Propose creative solutions and contribute to design and process concepts Support project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards Source supplies and services through internal resources and qualified external vendors Communicate project status to cross‑functional teams Maintain compliance with all quality system requirements What You Bring AA degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline plus 3+ years of relevant experience Hands‑on assembly experience with cables and fixtures Electrical capabilities and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team resource SolidWorks experience preferred Ability to read schematics preferred Additional Requirements Must be local or within commutable distance to Valencia, CA.
