Travel RN – Med/Surg Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (06:45–19:15) | 36 hours guaranteed per week | Every other weekend required | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Med/Surg Cardiology unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Care for pre- and post-heart catheterization patients as well as general cardiology patients including chest pain and hypertension
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Operate standard acute care equipment in alignment with unit protocols
• Serve as first to float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Med/Surg experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiology nursing experience
• Proficiency with acute care clinical skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR
