Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance communication skills and swallowing functions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication and swallowing at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care in compliance with agency policies and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in speech therapy services.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Proven track record of implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing functions.
• Skill in monitoring and documenting patient progress, with the ability to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Strong communication skills to educate patients and families on home strategies for communication and swallowing support.

Compensation $120 - $140 hourly
