Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an exciting contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services to students from preschool through high school in a supportive, educational setting. This full-time role allows you to make a meaningful difference as you support a diverse caseload, ranging in age from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade and with varied ability levels. You'll collaborate with a caring team, offering screening, evaluation, IEP development, consultation, and direct therapy services. Your week will be spent across different school sites in welcoming communities near Chesterfield, Pageland, Cheraw, Jefferson, and McBee. The assignment runs from July 22, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, averaging 37–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current or eligible SLP licensure in South Carolina
• Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with students of varying ages and ability levels
• Flexibility to travel to different school locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Offer professional guidance and support to colleagues and families
• Adapt therapy techniques to fit individual student needs
