Warehouse Inventory SpecialistRooMaven LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist who is responsible for all inventory tasks within the organization. An inventory specialist maintains records of all store inventory, produces inventory reports for the store manager regularly, ensures that sales records and actual store inventory match up, and keeps all stock organized and replenished, as necessary. Inventory Specialists are organized and will also evaluate the current practices of the company and implement new techniques to improve efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with other professionals and lead projects from conception through production.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:The ability to meet deadlines, exhibit great attention to detail, and communicate in a professional, concise manner is essential.A thorough understanding of standard business practices, problem-solving issues in a rapid environment, and a client-first attitude is necessary for success.Familiarity with cabinet fabrication, terminology, or similar.Track and report non-conforming product.Load and unload trucks for delivery.Be familiar with the Forklift and the Narrow Aisle Turret Truck.Verify quantity of items received against purchase order, sales order, or packing list.Put away products that have been received from containers.Change items' locations to accommodate spacing and incoming inventory.Perform physical inventory cycle counts on a regular basis.Accurately document the movement of back-ordered items received.Support customer service and sales departments by locating product components as needed.Ensure a clean warehouse area.Perform additional warehouse duties as needed.Excepted and Essential Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent.Basic math and computer skills to know Excel/Google Sheets.Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructionsHave valid work authorization in the USAAbility to work well in the warehouse under pressure.Ability to work independently or within a team.Excellent listening and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively perform multiple tasks with constant interruptions.Ability to lift greater than 35-50 lbs or more.2+ years of experience in a warehouse/supply chainPrior experience with warehouse equipment, such as Narrow Aisle Turret Truck, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.Roomaven, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all people.
