Internal Medicine, IM Nocturnist | High-Acuity Learning Environment + Mentorship & Education Focus

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physician MD/DO specializing in Internal Medicine to join our team as a Nocturnist at Broadlawns Medical Center. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care services within the approved clinical privileges.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain clinical skills in Internal Medicine.
- Provide direct patient care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
- Offer supervision and consultation to mid-level providers, residents, and medical students.
- Participate in departmental call schedules and medical education programs.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and medical staff meetings.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Iowa State medical license.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine within five years of residency.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior practice experience.
