Start Date: As soon as possible (flexible)

End Date/Duration: Based on assignment needs

Shift: Various shifts available (day, evening, night) / 8 or 12 hours

Hours/week: 36-40 hours

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

License/Certs: Valid RN license in Kansas; BLS required

Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $31.62 (based on experience and education)

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care to pre-operative patients in an ambulatory or surgery setting
• Assess patient health status and gather relevant medical histories
• Prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgeries or procedures
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff
• Ensure documentation complies with healthcare standards and regulations
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Assist in patient education regarding post-operative care and instructions

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• BLS certification
• Prior experience in pre-op, outpatient surgery, or ambulatory care preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Knowledge of surgical or perioperative procedures
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
