RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Travel Cath Lab RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus call in afternoons and on weekends with holiday rotation (30-minute response time).

The Travel Cath Lab RN will work in a high-volume cath lab environment, providing expert care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The role requires strong clinical skills as well as effective interpersonal communication to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the cath lab, assisting with procedures and ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage patient pain as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 5 years of experience preferred in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Must hold a Florida or compact state RN license.
• Per Florida Statute, must have 500 hours experience at a Cardiothoracic surgical site or 500 hours experience at a facility performing over 500 PCIs per year.
