Job TitleInspector/PackerJob DescriptionShift: Night Shift Premium Amount: $1.00 Pay Rate: $18.50Position Overview The primary function of the Inspector/Packer is inspecting and packing bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.Responsible for inspecting and packing quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications.Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification.Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported for review and decision.Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.Practice 5S, Good House Keeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines in production facility.Complete all documentation completely and accurately.Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.Competency StatementsAct: Safely, Responsibly and Ethically.Develop: Positive, Collaborative Teams and Healthy Work Environments.Deliver: Timely, Innovative and Sustainable Focused Solutions.Drive: Quality in Products, Service, and Attainment of Professional Goals.Integrate: Core Values of Commitment, Responsibility, and Innovation into all aspects of work.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.
