Job Description

This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial HVAC systems while providing outstanding service and guidance to customers. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and installation work on various heating and cooling equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation at commercial sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems, identifying electrical, mechanical, and performance-related issues.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore safe and efficient system operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC equipment to maximize reliability and identify potential issues before they impact customers.
• Complete service, repair, installation, and warranty work on commercial HVAC systems.
• Explain system issues, repair options, and upgrade recommendations clearly and professionally to customers.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through responsive and knowledgeable service.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Complete all required documentation and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, cooling towers, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and hydronic systems.
• Knowledge of gas and oil-fired furnaces and boilers.
• Familiarity with construction and field service operations such as warehouses, schools, retirement communities, dealerships, and strip malls.
• Experience with geothermal systems and hydronic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team of 16 people on commercial projects.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting service findings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• EPA Universal Certification and OSHA preferred.
• Experience as an HVAC Service Technician, Foreman, Maintenance Technician, or related field service role preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between customer locations.
• Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Work Environment

Work takes place primarily at existing commercial construction sites within approximately 1.5 hours of Harleysville, PA. Typical projects include warehouses, schools, retirement facilities, car dealerships, and strip malls. You will frequently work outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and adjusting to site-specific safety requirements. Field teams typically range from 1 to 6 people, fostering close collaboration and support in the field. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (40 hours). The company provides a fully equipped truck stocked with tools, an EZ Pass, and a gas card, along with a company-issued cell phone or tablet to support field operations and communication. The dress code consists of work boots, jeans, and a company-provided work shirt, reflecting a practical, hands-on environment focused on safety, professionalism, and reliability.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sellersville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
