Media & PR Relations Intern Location: ON Site / In-Office NYC / Hybrid Internship Duration: 6 Months Department: Marketing Operations Type: Internship | Part-Time or Full-Time | Paid or Academic Credit Immediate Openings Only: Must be available to interview and start immediately. About the Role The Media & PR Relations Intern will support external communications by identifying media opportunities, building relationships with journalists, and helping secure press coverage for Gesture and its CEO. Responsibilities Research and compile media lists of relevant outlets, podcasts, and journalists. Draft press briefs, bios, and outreach materials. Support coordination of interviews, appearances, and speaking engagements. Track coverage and maintain media archives. Qualifications Interest in public relations, marketing, or media production. Strong research and written communication skills. Professional email and correspondence etiquette. Detail-oriented and proactive.
