Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current nursing license Certifications: ACLS before starting date BLS before starting date PALS before starting date TNCC before starting date CPI before starting date NIHSS before starting date ENPC within 90 days of hire Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting Teamwork mentality Ability to coach and give feedback in real-time Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department Description: We are committed to making a positive impact. The organization serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke, and neonatal intensive care, and includes a pediatric emergency facility. The Emergency Department typically operates with a patient ratio of 4:1 for medical cases and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Available technology includes cardiac monitoring units and modern documentation systems. Staffing includes techs and unit clerks to support patient care around the clock. Candidates must be open to floating within various sections of the Emergency Department. Patient experience is highly valued, with a focus on respectful behavior and clear communication.
