Group Facilitator - Choosing Non-Violence Group for Men (Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)

Summary of Work Provide individual, family and group counseling and facilitation. Compensation $25.00 per hour Work Schedule 3 hours per week; Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Domestic violence experience LMHP preferred Batter’s Intervention Program (BIP) training preferred Valid driver’s license/acceptable driving record Group facilitation skill preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities Co‑facilitate the Choosing Non‑Violence Group for Men. Assist in developing group topics. Provide referrals as needed. Maintain required records. Maintain confidentiality. Display a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency. Cooperate and collaborate with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff. Maintain regular, prompt attendance at the office on a consistent and reliable basis. Abide by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements. Develop personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media. Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self‑care plan. Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend‑raising efforts.
