Position: Substance Use Disorder Counselor Location: Cuthbert, GA Job Id: 9858 # of Openings: 1 Substance Use Disorder Counselor Full-Time | Cuthbert, GA Are you passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives from substance use disorders? Join a mission-driven team where your clinical skills, compassion, and lived experience (if applicable) truly matter. We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide high-quality counseling, education, and case management services for individuals working toward recovery. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Position Details Status:Full-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule:Monday-Friday, plus on-call one week per month and one Saturday per month Location:Cuthbert, GA 39840 Reports To:Program Director What You'll Do Conducting screenings, intakes, and orientations Providing and documenting individual and group education sessions Delivering case management and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Supporting individuals using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and 12-Step facilitation Connecting clients with community resources and ongoing supports Serving as a positive role model for recovery and healthy living We're Looking For Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC I or II) OR a comparable combination of education, certification, training, and experience Three (3) years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Specialized training in addiction services Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of counseling theories, case management, and recovery-oriented practices Proficiency with basic computer software and online applications Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements Additional Requirements: If in recovery, a minimum of two (2) years of continuous sobriety is required If you're committed to helping individuals overcome substance use challenges and build healthier futures, we encourage you to apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr
