Registered Nurse (RN) - ED Resource Team - Full-time, Day Shift Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth - 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work Hours: Full-time, Day Shift (36 hours/week); three 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Department Highlights Central Staffing department for 833-bed MAGNET facility Level I Trauma Center Primary Heart Attack Center PHAC Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Here’s What You Need Education Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Experience 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - within 90 days of hire Required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 90 days of hire Required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - required for ED Neighborhood within 90 days of hire Required What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of intervention Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
